The course provides an introduction to the principles of computer game development, animation and VFX. This will include planning, design and production techniques, and experience of industry standard software and skills.
Students will use the latest software and hardware to produce 2D games, 3D game levels, game design documents, concept art, 3D models, VFX sequences, and digital images. They will also learn about the games, animation and VFX industries, and underpinning research and theory.

This course is suitable for students moving into Year 10 in September 2019. Suitable for students projected minimum grade 3 in Maths and English GCSE. Travel from school to the centre is included.
